What you are about to see is a Rotifer egg under a microscope. We re hydrated the egg in an attempt to get it to hatch, while observing it a strange series of events took place as you will see. It appears as if the single cell which enters from the top left has some kind of intelligence. It initially approached the egg then it appears to summon assistance to form an attack on the egg. A further 4 cells appear then form a pincer movement appearing to attack the egg, the egg reacts then seems to implode. Judge for yourself and if you can explain it please let us know, we hope that you find it as fascinating as we did.
