Laughed my head off at the drawing, would JRH do one of 'Fat Boab' Quigley and 'Soapy' Limmerick. Blinky Mathews could be P.C. Murdoch. Nice to see that the C.R.F. has chosen to ignore the N.V.A.A. once again its more evidence for you guys regarding their professional or should I say lack of approach towards our clubs in the Clyde area. It is balatantly obvious that Quigley, Limmerick and Yeomans are nothing but a clique. Why don't N.V.A.A. write an article about whats going on within Clyde arae and sent it to Trout & Salmon? It appears now that the fish pass at Blantyre is not working as well as it used to. Wonder who insisted it be altered and will they pay to get it put right. The problem in the Clyde area is that there are too many wannabe experts including that idiot Yeomans who know very little about the requirements of salmonids. I know of about 6 men who I would give the job of biologist to as they 'DO' know what they are talking about and none of the above can be included in that list. If the Clyde is to be the river it should be these interfering clowns must be got rid of.
Have to agree with former post Yeomans is a waste of space. There was a guy away back at the start I think his name was John Bray or Gray I'm not sure but he has more idae than that moron we have as a biologist. Interesting to read about the fish pass being a disater then so is everything he gets involved in. No doubt the hand of MR I am 'GOD' Quigley had a part to play in the pass being altered. Its nice to see that the so called 'experts' have egg on their faces over this one. Between Quigley and Yeomans the Clyde is a farce. How long has Yeomans being surveying for ? and what conclusions has he drawn up? none he simply isn'y capable of coming to a conclusion.
It is about time you exposed these numpties for what they are Idiots.They seem to keep trying to tell the men who know the river best how to run it.I like the drawing very much,the experts are nothing but a nuisance and talk a load of bunkum.Start writing about them in the local papers and see if they are still as smart.
